Mission Viejo Country Club takes the 3rd Annual SoCal Regional InterClub hosted by Birnam Wood Golf Club
A record 52 participants were on hand for the 3rd Annual RTJ Society Regional InterClub June 19th. Teams from Birnam Wood, El Caballero Country Club, Mission Viejo Country Club, Pauma Valley Country Club and Valencia Country Club participated. In addition to golf, Birnam Wood provided breakfast, lunch and drinks for the attendees.
Congratulations to the Mission Viejo team of DK Krishnareddy, Ken Kruis, Jack Marshall, Dan McCarthy and Tim Munday who narrowly pulled out a victory by going to the 3rd USGA tie-breaker with Pauma Valley and won the Jones Cup team trophy for MVCC. Congratulations also to Individual Low Gross winner, Chris Gregoire from Birnam Wood who shot 5 under par, 65 and to Josh Almieri from Mission Viejo CC, who won the Low Net plaque with a net 1 under par, 69.
The Annual Gathering will be held at the Army-Navy Country Club in Alexandria, Virginia Sept 11-112. All members of RTJ Society Member Clubs are eligible to attend.
