The origin of the club was, like all projects that seem impossible, a company that tested patience in a way that was difficult to anticipate. Nothing better describes the task we set for ourselves than the construction of the golf course, we wanted the best of designers Robert Trent Jones Sr. 9 young dreamers start this challenge And in 1957 Club El Rincon was born. We had many challenges including a flood that led us to almost start over.

One of the most important events played in El Rincon was the World Cup in 1980 with the participation of the most important golfers of the time, El Rincon is considered one of the best golf courses in Colombia and South America. Chosen among the 100 best in the world by Golf Magazine in 1980, the par 3 16th hole appears as one of the best 500 holes in the world. An special guest was Mr Joe Di Maggio who flew from Panama City to Bogota just to play at El Rincon.
