Robert Trent Jones Jr. to receive ASGCA Donald Ross Award

Jones worked alongside his father, Robert Trent Jones Sr. on Spyglass Hill and other projects before forming his own firm in the 1970’s. Jones Jr. has designed more than 300 golf courses in more than 50 countries and across six continents, including Chambers Bay ,site of the 2015 U.S. Open.

Jones Jr. becomes the third member of his family to be named Ross Award Recipient. His father was honored with the inaugural award in 1976 and brother Rees received the award in 2013. They are the only multigenerational family of architects to receive the prestigious award for their body of work.
