About The Tuxedo Club

Located just outside NYC in beautiful Tuxedo Park, NY, our event is in within 40 miles of major NYC airports

The Tuxedo Club has a storied history. In 1894, The Tuxedo Club hosted America’s first interclub golf tournament and the trophy from that event is now presented to the U.S. Senior Open champion. The classic RTJ designed course was built in 1957 and has recently been remodeled by his son, Rees. The full history of The Tuxedo Club can be read at www.thetuxedoclub.org.

While at The Event

Plan on two days golfing and enjoying the amenities of one of the most prestigious clubs in America. For non-golfing guests, there is time to enjoy racquet sports, fishing and boating arranged through the club.

Attire

All activities, except for Dinner Saturday evening, are country club casual attire.  Dinner on Saturday evening is Country Club semi-formal (coat & tie for gentlemen).

About the Event

This will be the 19th annual gathering of the Robert Trent Jones Society. Here you will enjoy the company of fellow golfers and enthusiasts of Robert Trent Jones, Sr. and his works of art. Take a deep dive into Society happenings while enjoying two days of friendly golf competition and networking with fellow RTJ Society Member Clubs.

Saturday’s dinner entertainment features Tom Coyne, best selling author of several golf books, most recently “A Course Called America” detailing his travels around the country. Tom will share insights and anecdotes from his experiences.
