Speaker Announced For Army-Navy Annual Gathering
Jimmie James, author of Playing from the Rough, a personal journey through America’s 100 greatest golf courses, will be this year’s keynote speaker for the Annual Gathering at the Army-Navy Country Club September 12th.
Mr. James will share his inspiring story from poverty in the Jim Crow South, his rise as an executive for Exxon and his audacious quest to play all 100 of America’s exclusive courses in a single year. Playing from the Rough is a remarkable memoir of race, class, family and perseverance as told through the lens of golf.
