Watch the Pros play an RTJ classic May 9-12
One of RTJ’s best courses will be on full display May 9th through the 12th as the pros tee it up at the Myrtle Beach Classic on the Dunes Golf and Beach Club.
The Dunes Course is a perennial Top 100 Public course and rated the best in Myrtle Beach since opening in 1949! Speaking with Dennis Nichols, Golf Director and RTJ Delegate, the course and property have never looked better after undergoing an extensive facelift and restoration under the watchful eyes of Rees Jones.
The course is highlighted by the par 5 #13 “Waterloo,” which by all accounts exemplifies Jones’ heroic design principle.
The Myrtle Beach Classic will be broadcast on the Golf Channel all four days, from May 9th to May 11th, 2024. The coverage will run from 9:30am to 11:30am and for the final rounds from 3:00pm to 5:00pm. It will also be streamed on Peacock.
About the Robert Trent Jones Society.
The Robert Trent Jones Society was created in 2004 and consists of 38 member clubs worldwide designed by Robert Trent Jones Senior. The mission of the Society is to honor Robert Trent Jones Sr. and his work, to preserve the historical information and documents pertinent to the golf courses he designed, and to encourage and support the education of member clubs on the design principles of his courses. The Society has an annual general meeting hosted at one of its member clubs.
